The course consists of 3 modules.
This unit introduces the basic principles of Design Thinking as a method and mindset. Various tools are introduced and practiced in isolation from the process. The focus is on human-centered and communication tools.
This is followed by the application of the Design Thinking process steps to a question from our research campus. In addition to brief input on content, the focus is on going through all the process steps in practice. From user interviews to the creation of prototypes, including an iteration loop.
At the end, we reflect together on what we have learned; the process, the tools used and the mindset that has been created. This knowledge is then used to discuss possible Design Thinking interventions for the participants' own projects.
